Hibiscus Rinse for Hair Growth

For this rinse recipe, you will only need 200 ml of water and two tablespoons of hibiscus tea. Besides being a great stimulator, the rinse will decrease frizz and hair breakage.

Step 1: Prepare the tea as you would do for drinking (bring water to boil, add the tea and let it infuse covered for 5 to 10 minutes).

Step 2: When colder, pour the liquid into a colander.

Step 3: After washing hair, apply the tea from root to length, strand by strand.

Step 4: Cover the whole hair, massaging the scalp well.

Step 5: Leave on for a couple of hours.

Step 6: Rinse the tea completely and apply the conditioner as usual.

Precaution: Blondes Should Avoid Hibiscus Tea

Hibiscus tea is not a regular hair dye, but if your hair is light and the rinse is too strong - it can leave a red color. So, if that's not the intention, blondes should avoid applying the liquid to their hair and look for other homemade methods that help hair grow. In case the staining happens, don't panic - after a couple of washes, the hibiscus stain will go away.
